When this site was purchased it already had approval for six apartments, but had been rejected at appeal for seven and eight apartments.
We were sure of the site’s potential and so, working closely with the local council, we completely redesigned the scheme. To better reflect the local street scene we introduced a traditional double fronted look with quality detailing such as London stock bricks, weather struck pointing and stone window surrounds.
Perhaps most importantly for our client, we changed the interior layout to accommodate eight apartments.
The planners loved the design and granted permission under delegated powers. It was a prime example of us delivering added value to our investors while creating beautiful living spaces in a great looking building.
